purpose
The purpose of test is to engage muscles of the upper body that contributes in maintain positioning of the body and maintain the technique. Upper-body development is essential in all sports because provide stability and generate force.
procedure
- The tester must explain the test procedure to the subjects.
- It can be done by a large number of athletes in the same time in circle or row.
- Athletes lies on stomach-legs together and hands pointed forward under the shoulder.
- The athletes must push straight up until arms are fully extended and turn back to the started position.
- The elbow angle must be 90 degree.
- The test ends when the time of 30 sec run out and the tester notes the number of push-ups performed.
