T test
when is the right time to measure?
Test must conduct early in preparatory phase and through annul plan, when there is nocompetition. It is recommended after exercises that require speed or max power.
equipment
Tape, Mini cones, Stopwatch, Brower Timing Lights (min 2 gates)
purpose
The purpose of the test is to measure the athlete’s agility and multidirectional speed.
procedure
- The tester must explain the test procedure to the subjects.
- Before the test athletes must perform an appropriate warm-up.
- Athletes start this test with the feet shoulder-width apart, knees slightly bent and one foot on the start/finish line.
- Athletes must perform the test by moving forwards, backwards and side to side (T-form).
- Athletes measure two attempts and the best result is recorded.
